This compilation of the database (v 4.0) was first completed 10 May 2003. v 1.0 was first completed 3 September 2001.
The database was last updated 18 August 2010 (v 4.7.65).
The database includes 33298 games.
Games involving 'League XIs' are included.
All games involving olympic teams up to the 1980 Olympic Games are included. All games involving olympic teams from Africa, Asia or Oceania up to the 1988 Olympic Games are included. Matches involving "Olympic teams" that were not at the Olympic Games, or Olympic Games qualifiers, are not included.
All games from the Panamerican Games up to the 1979 Panamerican Games are included.
Matches played by South China A.A., representing China in the Far Eastern Games (1913-21) are included as China.
Matches involving the United Arab Republic (1958-61) are included as Egypt.
The ratings of Saint-Martin (French) and Sint Maarten (Dutch) are combined together.
